Where Has The Time Gone?

I am sitting here reading about my baby's development and I can't help but ask myself where the time has gone. Tomorrow marks my third trimester, which seems crazy to me. It feels like just yesterday I was sick in bed losing weight and wishing I was closer to having the baby and feeling well. Now here I am and I can't help but wish I had a little more time to get everything ready. I know I've had six months to prepare for this, but I've spent most of those six months sick.

I have been getting all of the baby things together and organized, as well as getting rid of stuff I don't need or will never use, trying to make space for all of the baby things. I am so grateful for all of the help I've received and for all of the things people are giving and lending to me. Whenever people offer to give or lend me things it feels like a huge burden is being lifted from my shoulders. One less thing to worry about. Sometimes they are even things that I hadn't thought to worry about.

It is a little bit funny to think I am six months pregnant and Jadon and I are seven months married. We just celebrated our seven month anniversary. It is the only one we have remembered to celebrate and it was the perfect one to celebrate because it was a year ago, almost to the day, that he proposed. Just remembering how special and happy he made me feel that day makes me happy. He is always so thoughtful and caring and patient and understanding, even when he doesn't understand, he acknowledges that he doesn't understand and does whatever he can to makes things easier for me. I am very lucky that he picked me. And I'm grateful that we will be having a son, who I hope to raise to be just like his daddy!

One of the things I love about Jadon is that even if he is already in bed he will get up in the middle of the night and run to the store for me if I really want something! Or he will show up with something that he thought I might like...he is always pretty good at figuring out what I want, even when I don't know what I want. Poor guy, he has put up with a lot.

Pregnant Pics

Okey-dokey I finally have a good pregnant picture from about a week ago. This is me at 25 weeks and 6 days. Tavius was sitting up so high that it looked like I was just hiding a ball under my dress! I thought it was pretty silly.

I went to Utah this past week and saw my family that lives up there. One of my sisters up there threw a baby shower for me once she knew I was coming. It was a lot of fun and it was great to see people I haven't seen in such a long time.

Although my trip was good, I was extremely glad to get home last night. I missed seeing Jadon every day. I am grateful that I lasted for the road trip there and back without any serious problems...mostly. The trip there was pretty hard but I made it!

Tavius is growing so fast. It is fun to feel him kicking sometimes...other times it is just flat-out painful! But it always makes me smile when he kicks so hard that my whole stomach jiggles! Last night he kicked so hard over and over again and it was making my whole body move. I couldn't help but laugh. I don't know what I'm gonna do if he gets any stronger. They say that I will not feel him moving so much as he gets bigger because he won't have as much space to move around. So far I have only felt more movement and not less. This little boy can't seem to stay comfy in the same spot for more than a half hour or so. He is also not a morning person. My next ultrasound is in a week and it's in the morning and I just hope we'll be able to get a good profile picture this time. Last time we didn't get one 'cause it was morning and he wouldn't move. He is still just as stubborn. He likes to sleep until around 10:30 a.m.
