Baby Shower

Okay so I apologize in advance for my lack of memory. I might sometimes forget things (like my camera) which would make my posts more enjoyable. So once again I apologize for the no pictures.

The baby shower that Krissa threw for me last Saturday was AMAZING! Everything was great; the food, the decorations, the games, and the people (although I'm not sure I can give Krissa credit for making the people great!). I had such a blast and it was so wonderful to see so many of our loved ones.

I appreciate everyone who pitched in, and who came to show their love and support and just have an awesome time...which is what we did...so anyone who wasn't able to make it really missed out on a lot. Also, I thank everyone for their wonderful gifts which will make my life soooooo much easier! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Krissa made an adorable wreath for the front door out of diapers, and a diaper cake that had a Mario topper made by Mom-Walters. It was so adorable and I cannot wait for Tavius to see it!

I really hope that he comes out looking like a Tavius because we got cute little outfits with "T" on them. It would be a little awkward if we changed his name at the last minute!

I would like to conclude by saying thank you Krissa for doing such a wonderful job and giving me an amazing baby shower!

Oh Dear

It just hit me today as I was sitting at the computer that I have less than 10 weeks left of growing this baby. Holy cow! I will be full term in about 5 1/2 weeks and I'm due in 9 1/2 weeks. This is getting very real very quickly. I'm okay with that though. I keep telling Jadon that if I go into labor right now I'd be okay with it because I feel ready to have this baby. I don't think Tavius is ready...or Jadon!

Jadon has been so sweet taking care of me all week. I have been very sick...again. It is the same thing I had in January that I ended up in the hospital with. This time I did not go to the hospital though...thank goodness! I was very worried that I would not be well in time for my baby shower on Saturday but I am more optimistic now because I woke up feeling quite a bit better today.

I also feel terrible because once again Jadon has time off from work and is spending it taking care of me. I am trying very hard to convince him that I don't get sick on purpose.

The good news is that my mom will be coming home very soon! I have had a difficult time with her being gone. Nightmares of going into labor and her not getting here in time to help me. I will be very relieved when she gets home. I also keep having nightmares that I can't get a hold of Jadon at his new job and I end up having the baby without him knowing I went into labor. I know that is not realistic though. My labor is not going to be quick enough for him to not know about it. I expect that it will be longer than one work shift. I am happy to be wrong about how long it will be though!

Ultrasound Pictures

Here are some much awaited pictures of our baby boy. He is very adorable in my opinion! This first one is him with his top lip sticking WAY out! The ultrasound tech kept pointing it out to me and I think it is absolutely the cutest thing!

And here is one of him not sticking his lip out. He kind of has a no-chin thing going on, which I am told is a Walters thing. He also has long feet, which is a Bond trait that I hoped he would get. I have a picture of that too but I didn't post it.

The quality isn't the greatest but you can still tell how cute he is! I absolutely cannot wait to see him in person. I felt him have the hiccups for the first time just a few days ago. He has them right now and it is the funniest feeling! Oh so cute!
