Welcome 2011!

Well, Christmas was really good aside from the fact that I was sick with a bug on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Christmas Eve with the Walters was a blast (even being sick I had a really good time). On Christmas morning Jadon and I slept in late and opened gifts to each other before going to visit family. It is pretty amazing that I made it out at all. We went to visit my family on Sunday because I couldn't make the drive out there without throwing up on Christmas.

Monday night my sister, Angela, and her family drove down for a visit so I spent the evening at my mom's to see them. It has been fun to see them all week over at my mom's and out to lunch for another sister's birthday (Happy Birthday Michelle!). She is also pregnant and it is fun to compare bellies and stories.

This coming Monday I will be going back to work! I'm not sure how long I will be working each day, or how many days a week I'll be going in. It is an office job, actually the same office I used to work in, just under different ownership. I haven't met my boss yet (I can't even remember her name to be honest) but I am glad I will be getting out of the house.

Tavius is growing so much! A couple of days after Christmas I felt him moving sooo much! He had been folded in half up until then. It was kind of weird feeling him unfold. My mom is amazed that she could feel him moving what with this being my first pregnancy and the fact that I'm only 20 weeks.

I am excited to party tonight! 2010 went by really quickly now that I think about it. I can't wait to see what new adventures 2011 will bring!

Yay for Christmas!

Last night was the Bond Family Christmas Party at my parents' house. It was a blast! Deanna did such an awesome job planning everything. Everyone had such a good time, the food was great, the crafts were a huge success, and the activities were exceptional! Jadon wasn't able to make it because he was working late and man did he miss out! No worries though because I brought him leftovers and took bunches of pictures.

I love Christmas time and I am sooo excited that it is so close! We are doing our own little Christmas before going to visit family and it is kind of weird being the one in charge of Christmas but I am glad we are starting our own traditions, and of course keeping the ones we loved from growing up. Next year will be even more exciting, shopping for Jadon and Baby Tavius! This year we are doing a purple Christmas (thank you Jadon!). Purple lights, purple ornaments, purple wrapping paper! I love it!

Tavius Ryan

We are very pleased to announce that our baby has been very unmistakably identified as a BOY! His name is Tavius Ryan (unless he doesn't look like a Tavius when he's born). He is very healthy and is measuring normal (thank goodness!). During the ultrasound he was very stubborn and uncooperative. He was doing a head-dive the entire time and no amount of walking, dancing, or poking would convince him to move. At least we were able to determine that he is a he!

Yesterday, Tavius had his bum sticking out the entire day, so there was a very cute little bulge on my tummy! Pretty sure Jadon thought I was crazy for rubbing it and cooing at it, but I couldn't help it, it was just so adorable!

We met with the specialist this morning and I am very relieved that she sees no reason to put me on any medication or shots at this time. Unfortunately, I was so worried about the appointment that I dragged Jadon out of bed at 8:30 a.m. to come with me. Poor guy is so tired. So am I though, because Tavius likes to wiggle when I'm trying to sleep. I'm even beginning to notice a pattern...3 a.m....6 a.m....9 a.m. I think he is trying to make this a permanent schedule!

Time, Time, Time...

Jadon has a week off starting this week! Hooray for time off! He wants to do nothing but stay at home. It is much deserved so he doesn't have to go anywhere unless he wants to. I will have unlimited access to the car, so I'm finally going to go change my name to Walters! I am sadly not keeping "Bond" in my name, so who knows if the funny gene will stay, it's been a little bit of a debate and no one has been able to decide. Unfortunately, I will also have to take care of all the hospital billing stuff. No matter what gets resolved, more problems pop up. They just keep calling and calling and now I have to take some documents in to the hospital.

My doctor's office got my blood work back and I do have Factor 5. That means I will probably have to have a shot once a day. I don't know for sure until I see the specialist next week. My pregnancy is definitely high risk now, so I will have to be careful of what I do and eat.

I am happy to say that I am feeling pretty good most days and tonight I even have dinner cooking so it'll be ready when Jadon gets home from work! I can't promise it will be a nightly thing yet, but I'm getting there. I love being able to help!
